By 2025, Bush Heritage Australia aims to protect 1% of Australia – or more than 7 million hectares of valuable Australian bushland - forever
Bush Heritage Australia, supported by donations from businesses, individuals, trusts and foundations - buys and manages land of high conservation value, then restores the land to its natural state to protect Australia’s biodiversity.
Bush Heritage is well on (bush) track to meet its goals. With its team of professional ecologists and reserve staff, they manage 33 reserves nationwide for conservation, protecting and rehabilitating over 947,000 hectares of land rich in natural heritage... so far.
